After being selected as the villain in S S rajamouli’s Baahubali, handsome hunk Rana Daggubati has bagged another prestigious project. He would be starring in Gunashekhar’s Magnam Opus ‘Rani Rudramadevi’.

Rudramadevi is Gunashekhar’s dream project based on Kakatiya dynasty.Rana plays Chalukya Veerabhadrudu whereas the main character Rudrama Devi is being portrayed by Anushka Shetty.

Rudramadevi is the first historical stereoscopic 3D film. The music is composed by Maestro Illayaraja and the costumes are designed by famous designer Neeta Lulla. The film opening was held at famous 1000 pillar temple in Warangal on 14 Feb 2013 and the entire cast and crew were present for the opening. The film is scheduled to release in the late half of 2014.
