Allu Arjun's Duvvada Jagannadham has stormed Box Office in June with collections. Stylish star shouldered the film that got huge openings. The film went onto gross huge collections inspite of getting mixed reviews which proves Allu arjuns market potential.

Mohanakrishna Indraganti's Ami Thumi although a low budget movie made an impact in June.Fun filled dialogues, good screenplay and lack of competition have helped the film make good profits.

Notable duds of June were Andhagadu and Fashion Designer.Raj Tarun's Andhagadu didn't turn out as expected. The film has failed to meet the expectations. Despite a few laughs, the film didn't really offer anything and thus ended as a time-pass film that failed to set the cash registers ringing. Gopichand's Aradugula Bullet, which was supposed to hit the screens, backed out of race due to its financial woes.

Minister Ganta's son Ravi Teja who was testing his luck in film industry with Jayadev had failed by all means . Although the story was proven and made an impact in Tamil(Sethupathi) Raviteja failed to lure the audiences to cinemas inspite of experienced Jayanth C. Paranjees direction.

May:
May did not have many major releases.

Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet Singh's Ra Randoyi Veduka Chuddam released in May. The movie released with a lot of hype because of good promotions but failed to create teh hype post release.Despite its poor content and weak word-of-mouth, the film managed to mint money at the Box Office. The film said to have collected Rs 25 Cr share world-wide which is higher than Chaitanya's previous success Premam.

The Telugu remake of Hunterrr - Babu Baaga Busy failed to impress the audience. The makers attempt to bring bold content to telugu industry didn't pull off and the movie ended up as a dud.

April 2017 was the month which no movie lover will forget because of the release of Baahubali the biggest BlockBuster Indian Cinema has ever witnessed.Baahubali has taken Telugu Cinema to the next level and put it on world stage.

April is Baahubali month. The most-awaited second part of Baahubali (Baahubali : The Conclusion) has shaken the country and blasted the Telugu, Hindi and Tamil Box offices . The movie went onto be All Time 2nd Biggest Blockbuster in Indian Cinema only next to Aamir Khan's Dangal. No other movie released or could withstand this Magnum Opus in April

Mega Hero Varun Tej's Mister with director Sreenu Vaitla got lukewarm response. The film joined the legion of Vaitla's series of flops. Although the producer got good money in form of digital rights poor theatrical revenue has made Mister a major dud and has put Sreenu Vaitla's career in question.

Venkatesh's Guru released with a good hype an mnged to live to teh hype.Movie not only was liked by the audience but it also made a decent gross profit.Venky's different attempt paid off.

One of the most expected releases of the year was Pawan Kalyan-Sharrath Marar's Katamarayudu. Katamarayudu released in March .The Telugu remake of Veeram couldn't recreate the expected magic thus giving a great disappointment to Pawan's fans. Fans who had expected a respite after Sardaar's poor show, had to settle for Katamarayudu which got even lesser response from the movie lovers and disappointed the fans. But despite that bad talk PawanKalyan's name and ardent fans made sure Katamarayudu collected good amount in the opening week.

The most shocking and disappointing film of 2017 was Om Namo Venkatesaya. Despite having great reviews, the film was outrightly rejected by the audiences. Nothing excited the movie lovers not even the magical combo of Nagarjuna-KRR-Keeravani.

Another Sankranthi big-release Balakrishna's Gautamiputra Satakarni is another winner as the historical biopic of Gautamiputra Satakarni gave a goose-bumping victory to Balayya and thus gave a big reasons for the actor's fans to celebrate.
