Rating: 3.5/5
It is absolutely not a classic, neither a mind blowing movie nor something very unique. It is just a commercial movie. Watch it and enjoy.
Rating: 3.5/5
Interval Bang & Clima twist in this movie attracts the audience very well and the twists engage the audience to the story. The story is as old one with the war between good and evil and predictable. Sai Kumar scenes come out too good with his diction in the dialogues and his performance. Devi Sri Prasad’s background score is an advantage for this mysterious action thriller, but coming to the songs album, they are said to be okay okay.
Rating: 3.5/5
The movie is completely Ram Charan mark. Director Vamsi Paidipally has successed to showcase Charan as a powerful angry young man. Charan takes this film to another level with his awesome performance. His dances are to die for especially in the Freedom song. Allu Arjun and Kajal’s guest roles are breathtaking, and have been conceived wonderfully. First ten minutes and interval bang is very intense and entertaining. Sai Kumar does an awesome job as a villain. Some thrills and action episodes, especially the rain fight has been shot extremely well.
Rating: 3.5/5
Mass Masala Entertainer.Positives are Allu Arjun and Kajal Agarwal role.Ram Charan’s performance in the action sequences is too good.
Rating: 3.5/5
Vamsi Padipalli came with a script which is inspired from hit Hollywood film Face Off and blended it with hit Telugu films Journey, Vikramarkudu and Chatrapathi. Though hero taking revenge placing numbers is nothing new, Vamsi did it quite well. First half is ok but second half became slow as it resembled Vikramarkudu. Blood bath on silver screen and lack of humour will put off family viewers. Songs, background score and screen play keeps everyone glued to the screen. But many feel the film is no where near Ram Charan’s previous Sankranthi treat Nayak.
Rating: 3.25/5
On a whole, Yevadu is a film that has all ingredients to work at Box Office this Sankranthi!. The plus points of film are Ram Charan’s performance, commercial screenplay that has an inherent factor that arouses curiosity and director’s ability to handle mass and family emotions.
Rating: 3.25/5
Overall, Yevadu is a good action entertainer with all commercial ingredients. Ram Charan Teja is the showman in the film. Engrossing screenplay and rich production values are the big assets of the movie. If you are looking for entertainment without any message, it is good treat for you this Sankrathi.
Rating: 3.0/5
One the whole, Yevadu is all about Ram Charan’s electrifying performance. Though this film has many routine scenes, you can still give it a shot this festive season.
Rating: 3.0/5
Over all the film is a mass entertainer and Ram Charan's fans will like to some extent. However they will be disappointed as there are not many breathtaking dancing moves in the songs from Cherry. Except for Freedom in which he tried new moves and in Dimple songs, nothing will satisfy fans on dancing moves. Many times his steps looked routine. Charan should also take some care in dialogue delivery and also improve his expressions, which too looked routine.
Rating: 3.0/5
For all Mega fans and formula movie lovers, this film is worth a one time watch. Dil Raju and Vamsy Paidipally made ‘Yevadu’ as just a simple commercial potboiler with two revenge drama stories weaved into one with neat screenplay of inter-linkings in pre-interval and post-interval blocks. Absolutely, there is no confusion in narration because two stories run on separate blocks with no common element.
Rating: 3.0/5
It is absolutely not a classic, neither a mind blowing movie nor something very unique. It is just a commercial movie.Yevadu is going to be a hit at B & C centers as it had all the required masala for fans with excellent action episodes but may not work well for A centers audience!
Rating: 3.0/5
Yevadu is all about up and downs. First half is good and second half is ok. At last, this film has many routine scenes but meag fans are happy with the performance of Ramcharan. General movie lovers will watch once.
Rating: 3.0/5
First half of the film is okay, not many dragging episodes and second half picks the pace to adds in some mass - powerful scenes. Yevadu has obviously been made to cater to its target audience, those who don't care about logic and are looking for nothing less than pakka entertainment. If your idea of a movie goes along those lines, watch it!
Rating: 3.0/5
Yevadu goes in the similar lines of Ram Charan’s earlier movies, Racha and Nayak. You can not term it as good or bad. It is like you do not find any thing novel point to appreciate. The story just goes on like 100s of revenge dramas earlier in Telugu. But with 1-Nenokkadine completely biting the dust, the movie is expected to make a merry at the box office for Sankranthi.
Rating: 3.0/5
Yevadu's basic idea was borrowed from Face Off. It is not right to dig more into this as it may give away few key twists and turns in the film. Idea is good but there are some logical errors that may puzzle you if you keep your thinking cap on. Although Yevadu has a novel plot the treatment of the film is very routine.
Rating: 3.0/5
The film has been stuck for release from a long time and finally it arrived. However, it does not really match the hype. In one line, it is just a routine commercial entertainer with overdose of action. The first half goes about with few elements of action, romance and some comedy but the interval bang was very good. The second half had a lag and eventually it picks up. Overall, the film doesn’t have anything great to offer but at the same time it has enough to entertain mega fans and masses. At the box office, this would be an average grosser.

Vamsi Paidipalli cooked a dish comprising the best ingredients taken from previous super hit films of other directors. He took an element from 'Journey', a line from 'Vikramarkudu', an emotion from 'Chatrapathi' and an idea from Hollywood flick 'Face Off'. He should be appreciated for making the dish palatable at least for a set of audience. Yes, the film goes well with the masala fiction lovers.
Rating: 3.0/5
‘Yevadu’ is a decent mass masala entertainer with unique plot. This film will score big in B and C centers in particular for its commercial content.‘Yevadu’-A massive Pongal treat for Mega fans and masses
Rating: 3.0/5
Despite the novel storyline, Vamsi Paidipally made Yevadu a safe project with tried and tested formula, unique plot in commercial format. Yevadu has gripping screenplay yet routine treatment. The main asset of the film is the cast performances be it the leads or supporting cast like Sai Kumar, Jayasudha are perfect. The first fifteen minutes is crucial for the movie and the major plot gets revealed though later proceedings get predictable. Interval bang is handled pretty well providing wide scope for latter half. The second half is the key to the film and Ram Charan- Sai Kumar confrontation scenes, Jayasudha’s performance; DSP’s BGM does the magic.
Rating: 3.0/5
Yevadu is decent movie with interesting twists but a better climax would have been a great result for the movie. Yevadu will definitely appeal to fans and the general audiences are recommended for a one time watch.
Rating: 3.0/5
he performances are all fine. Ram Charan's acting comes across as different from what was seen in Naayak and Racha. Call it Vamsi's directorial touch or Cherry's maturing as an actor, he looks convincing enough here. Sai Kumar comes next in being a strong supporting actor. Although he has been the same actor for many years now, his baritone and domineering personality and aggressive persona are a treat to watch. Shruti Hassan looks gorgeous and one doesn't feel like complaining even though all she does here is play the glam doll in a couple of super hit tracks. Amy Jackson is seen in a forgettable role. Jayasudha's gloating over her son's guts is another good feature. Rahul Dev, Ajay, Subbu Raju, Murali Sharma fit the bill. A huge bore is Brahmanandam. Far from making us laugh, he actually makes us want to go for Zandu Balm.
Rating: 3.0/5
Yevadu provides novelty in the beginning episodes promising a different commercial film but ends up as a regular revenge drama. Has many clichéd moments but it is also a film that works to some extent. A masala fare.
Rating: 3.0/5
Rotine story With few twists overall ok kind movie Above average to Hit range movie
Rating: 3.0/5
Yevadu takes off with cameos of Allu Arjun and Kajal Agarwal which is much interesting plot not to miss in the first half. Story narration is good for the first 15 minutes and later the plot is much predictable and also lacks the pace. Few interesting twists, entertaining comedy and romance worked out well. Interval is good with action sequence and a twist.
Rating: 3.0/5
The first half of the movie completely runs fast forwarded and second half will be dragged. This movie is the concept of faceoff English movie. Villain will be killed before interval clearly says that there is another main villain and it will be dragged on Ram Charan’s story that didn’t surprise anyone before interval. Movie has been dragged a little bit in the second half.
The Times Of India

It's loaded with high decibel screaming and sounds of human bodies being bashed to pulp, so those with sensitive eardrums might want to carry protection.
Rating: 3.0/5
Two different stories: one interesting other boring overall an above average grosser.
Business Of Tollywood
Rating: 3.0/5
Yevadu is an action entertainer with a revenge story and many scenes in the movie are predictable. Director maintained the tempo in the movie till end. The entertainment and comedy are also good. It has all the ingredients which are expected by a Tollywood audience.
Rating: 2.75/5
I have no doubt about commercial success of Yevadu.Yevadu is a feast for hardcore mass fans of Ram Charan who earlier embraced films like Racha and Naayak.
Rating: 2.25/5
The whole film runs on Ram Charan shoulders. Ram Charan gave an electrifying performance as far as action scenes are concerned. The script or screenplay didn’t offer him to show any variations in acting. Ram charan excelled in fights and dances, but nothing special

Overall, Yevadu is a good action entertainer with all other commercial ingredients. Ram Charan Teja is the showman in the film. Engrossing screenplay and rich production values are the big assets of the movie.
The Hindu

Just like the cosmetic changes to the character, the director adds frills to the second half in attempt to make the project safe. Two stars in the film but the director shows his insecurity and includes a clipping from Gabbar Singh for the whistles. The film could do well at the box office provided you ignore the non-stop, prolonged revenge sequences. Devisri Prasad’s background score and editing are assets, cinematography is equally good. With no big films in sight the coming week, this one, tailored for the mass, should set the cash registers ringing.

Movie starts off in a remarkable mode. half is alright. half has pretty sensible emotional parts with the Jayasudha (family emotions) and Sai Kumar (mass emotions). The and points of film square measure Ram Charan’s performance, business script that has associate degree inherent issue that arouses curiosity and director’s ability to handle mass and family emotions. On the flip aspect, the primary 1/2 the film has no conflict purpose as hero continues to kill the targets with zero opposition and there’s heap of violence within the picture. On a whole, Yevadu could be a film that has all ingredients to figure at Box office this Sankranthi!.
