The real test in crafting a mystery thriller is in how you undo the knots which you have so painstakingly constructed and director Thiru passes this test quite satisfactorily in Vetadu Ventadu.
Rating: 3.0/5
Overall, Vetadu Ventadu is a good commercial entertainer and it should be watched for Thiru and Vishal's works. It is must watch movie for action lovers.

Vetadu Ventadu, which is the dubbed version of Vishal-Trisha starrer Tamil movie Samar, has hit the marquee today. With intelligently structured plot, director Thiru brings in a brand new experience for Telugu viewers. Vishal and Trisha will rock you with their action and glamour.
Rating: 2.75/5
'Vetadu Ventadu' is an action thriller with bad execution. The audience will dissatisfies, Who goes with expecting comedy and entertainment. Finally, Vetadu Ventadu is just an avg. flick.
Rating: 2.75/5
For all those regular moviegoers who wait for innovative plots might be thrilled to see this genre. Definitely there is a bit of interest created in second half where twists and turns unlock the clues but a better screenplay and more excitement filled narration could have helped the final output.
Rating: 2.75/5
Vishal shines in his role and impresses in some excellent action sequences that are choreographed to perfection.
Rating: 2.5/5
Vishal shines in his role and impresses in some excellent action sequences that are choreographed to perfection. Sunaina hardly has any part to play while Trisha was reasonably mediocre in her performance. Manoj and JD were completely wasted in roles that could've sent chills up the audiences .
Rating: 2.5/5
Go and Watch Vetadu Ventadu is a Suspense Thriller.
Rating: 2.25/5
Director though tried to end the story in a creative manner disappointed viewers with his climax. Second half disappoints viewers to the core after raising the tempo in the first half. Film is full of logic less events with two trying to play with the lives of people.
Rating: 2.25/5
Director Thiru should be applauded for coming with interesting plot for the film but there are some loopholes that haven’t been answered satisfactorily and even leaving that aside the film isn’t that gripping as one expects it to be when making a film on such premise.
