Watch it especially for Ram Charan and his stupendous performance, Sukumar’s direction, Rathnavelu’s cinematography and DSP’s background score. This film truly proves that it doesn’t matter if it’s a tale you have seen a million times before, when it’s told in an entertaining manner!
Rating: 3.75/5
First half is devoted to antics of Chittibabu and Ramalakshmi and also highlights their scenes of mock -love-hate and also the injustices and atrocities of the village president exposed by the youth Kumara babu .The secod half is more commercial with comic scenes , Charans acting etc. In fact Sukumar has provided ample food for all audiences – a good combnation of music, cinematography, lyrics, acting and finally directors interventions.
Rating: 3.5/5
Rangasthalam is a gripping village drama which has some electrifying moments throughout. The village set up, human emotions, romance, and Ram Charan’s fantastic act as Chitti Babu win you over. The film will be a rage with the masses and the family audience will enjoy it too. If you ignore the slight lengthy runtime and rustic nature, this movie kicks off summer with a bang and ends up as a very entertaining watch this weekend. Go for it as earthy films like these hardly come out in Telugu.

Verdict: Ram Charan's Show!On a whole, it is definitely worth a watch for its engaging drama and heartfelt emotions and above all for Ram Charan's spectacular performance. Go for it.

A film that should not be given a miss.
Rating: 3.25/5
Rangasthalam is a film with depth in characters on a commercial treatment backed by top notch technical department and startling performances from Charan, Samantha. Despite a few hiccups here and there in second half, it’s a well made film with high chances to deserve a place in current generation Tollywood classic library. Summer holidays, long weekend can be a bonus at Box Office. Irrespective of a few constraints, Rangasthalam can connect equally well with audience of all sections.
Rating: 3.25/5
Rangasthalam is a must watch for those who love realistic films with high emotions. Fun loving persons many not enjoy this.
Rating: 3.25/5
The first half is filled with the beauty of Rangasthalam village and after a racy and entertaining first half there is some new factor in the second half. The movie picks up the speed, by the time it reaches the pre-climax. If ignore the lengthy runtime and rustic nature, Ram Charan and Samantha will entertain the audiences to the fullest. The visuals, melodies background score, perfect casting, Ram Charan’s performance make the movie watchable.
Rating: 3.25/5
Brother sentiment is the story's biggest strength. Ram Charan delivers a dekko as a pure-hearted villager to whom his brother and girlfriend mean the world. Exhilarating making values help matters. On the flip side, cliched scenes are not few and far between.
Rating: 3.2/5
Rangasthalam is well-conceived Raw and Intense Village Drama set in the 80s and is Ram Charan's Career-Best Work. It would have been perfect if it is trimmed by some 20 minutes.
Rating: 3.0/5
Rangasthalam is shouldered by Ram Charan all the way and let down by a lengthy running time!
Rating: 3.0/5
Rangasthalam is a raw drama backed by Ram Charan’s unexpected stellar performance, meticulous artwork to portray 80s ambience of a rustic village. However, terribly dragged overdose of sentiment scenes in second half kills the commercial aspect to an extent. Again in Climax , Ram Charan’s brilliant act turns saving grace. Box-office performance depends on how fans embrace this different film from a mass star.
Rating: 2.75/5
Ram Charan shows his acting prowess in Rangasthalam. Sukumar missed the emotional connect at the crucial times, diluting the essence. Had he paid attention to it during the execution, Rangasthalam could have made even powerful impact. Overall it is a treat to mega fans and masses to some extent.
