On the whole, Prema Ishq Kadal is an decent love entertainer. Rich production values, commendable performances, and unique backdrop are major plus points for this film. Majorly aimed at multiplexes audience, this film is bound to do well in A centers.
Rating: 3.0/5
Overall, the director has made Prema Ishq Kadhal an interesting quirky human drama. The movie captures an emotional ride of characters from different walks of life as they seek love. This different attempt of Pavan is sure to rock the viewers.

Prema Ishq Kadhal.. Urban love story peppered with superb music. A different climax for a romcom. Time pass flick. Music (all songs) and pleasant cinematography are its strength.
Business Of Tollywood
Rating: 3.0/5
The biggest asset to the movie is its music. Cinematographer Karthik Gathamaneni has captured well the songs and scenes with his camera. These two things gave the movie richness and fresh feeling. Director has done a good job in presenting three fresh stories in one movie.

You can easily watch the movie once, but can feel a little bit bored sometimes in between
Rating: 3.0/5
Technically the film is perfectly up to the mark. Music is interestingly gripping. Cinematography is impeccable. But what lacks in the film is pace. Had it been with better pace, it would have gone up to next level. But on a whole, the director despite a debutante could do something very reasonable. No audience will come out of the theatre with dejection. But at the same time it will not promise great moments. On a whole it is an interesting film that appeals for the youth in large numbers. In fact, the current generation connects to its better as the new trends are being seen in love, lust and greed these days.

Prema Ishq Kadal is a feel good entertainer of its genre aiming multiplex crowd along with some boring lecture on Love Which you may not enjoy much for .. Director got pass mark for such a decent attempt ..
Rating: 3.0/5
Major highlight of the film is the decent performances from the lead cast. Newcomer Vishnu steals the show as Royal Raju . His looks, dialogues and mannerisms as a rustic village guy are pretty good. Harshvardhan Rane suits his rock star role perfectly, and so does Harish Varma as a playboy.Ritu Varma is pretty good as the modern girl and does justice to her role. Vitika has a decent role and she impresses everyone with her acting skills. The twist showcased between Arjun and Shanti in the second half is quite interesting. Satyam Rajesh is hilarious as Millennium star and brings out good comedy in the film.

A very good attempt by a new director with all new star cast.Thought their is a certain lag in the movie, the romantic feel would touch the audience's heart.
Rating: 3.0/5
Prema Ishq Kadhal is decent love entertainer, multiplex crowd and youth especially will connect with this movie instantly. Director Pavn Sadineni should be appreciated for making a quality product with minimum budget.
The Times Of India
Rating: 3.0/5
The most striking aspect of the movie has to be the music which sets up an immersive ambience for three seemingly realistic romances to play out. The filmmaker seems to have taken care to ensure an allure of realism in the proceedings all through the movie. The characterizations, the romances, the writing and cinematography all seem to have been designed to keep it as real as possible.

Prema Ishq Kaadhal is an urbane story that starts on a promising note. First half is decent. Second half has dragging moments. But the climax of the film is nice. Plus points of the film are fresh star cast (especially Sree Vishnu and Ritu Varma) and technical values (mellifluous music and pleasing visuals). Short film director turned feature filmmaker Pavan Sadineni makes an honest attempt to make a different cinema by defying the routineness. On a whole, Prema Ishq Kaadhal is a different film.

The Rom-Com trend is quite prevalent in the Bollywood and this genre had done wonders with the Multiplex audience. Pavan Sadhineni tried the similar attempt with Prema Ishq Kadhal. You can try it over the weekend for its lively performances and soothing music. Its BO performance will depend on how multiplex audience and youth embrace it!

All the actors though debutantes has performed very well. They have done justice to their characters. Harshavardhan Rane has excelled in his performance as a Rock star and he was looking very stylish in the movie. Vithika Sherus action was natural. Vishnu performed well in both comedy and emotional scenes. Harishs performance is also very good. Rithu Varma was looking good and performed well.

A film with a subtle message, PIK is three stories set side by side and doesn’t keep us guessing but definitely has a good culmination.
Rating: 2.75/5
PIK has good music, attractive visuals and able star cast. Besides that it fails to hold the attention of audience due to lazy pacing and of poor script. This film is targeted at multiplex audiences and city youth. They may give it pass marks but this film could have achieved more if they got the script right.
Rating: 2.75/5
Although PIK teams good points on the technical front it lost many due to lackluster script. The director is known for making short films and maybe he didn't put much effort into this feature film. None of the characters really appeal to you and you cannot identify yourself in any of them.
Rating: 2.75/5
A decent entertainer for multiplex movie goers. Those who love novelty will fall in love with 'Prema Ishq Kadhal'
Rating: 2.75/5
Establishing of the film and introduction of the characters are well taken care of. Film runs smooth until interval but as all the new directors does, Pavan also stumbled a little in the case of second half. Nothing new and no strong reasons behind the parting of the couples are the weak parts which made the quintessential second part fragile.
Rating: 2.5/5
heavy lags, unnecessary filling dialogues and the deliberate struggle to narrate a simple point in a lengthy way gives a lethargic appeal. And the fundamental flaw is how can the character Shanti blame a boy for calling on her mobile when she is in a business meeting? It is indeed her responsibility to keep the mobile in silent mode. And Royal Raju says ‘I love you’ to every girl in first half and in climax he is shown as a man with values. There are some directorial flaws here and there that will show effect on total viewing experience.
Rating: 2.5/5
Prema Ishq Kaadal is a modern age multiplex film that is aimed the youth. The movie manages to avoid cheap Tollywood writing, and gently leads you down its plot. Just when you think you might know where the story is going, it heads in a different direction. Points are revealed to you layer by layer. PIK is a decent rom-com film which had some fine moments to sustain you through the entire film coupled by good performances and good music.
Rating: 2.5/5
Dont expect too much from this film. Its a decent attempt.

‘Prema Ishq Kaadhal’ is more of a boring lecture on love than a film. It says you may fail in love, but life goes on – a time tested message. Sulochana Rani and Pattabhiram’s Q & A columns in weekly magazines are far interesting and educating than this film. The director says ‘Prema Ishq Kaadhal’ is for multiplex audience. But it is definitely not worth of your 150 bucks.
Rating: 1.5/5
Director highlighted the genex love stories in the film. However truth will be always bitter but director unlike the preferences of viewers scripted a tragic ending which will be hard to digest.Though A center people may appreciate the story a little bit,the film lacks the commercial elements to attract B,C center viewers. Though first half is ok,second half is too bad.

There are love stories like MOUNA RAGAM and HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM. These well made films suggest us a single perspective, i.e. "MOVE ON." The crux of this movie is nothing but this perspective. The beauty of this story as its poster suggests is the amalgamation of perceptions about love with life, hope and lust.
