Ko Antey Koti shows much promise with terrific visuals and good music. A good promise of different film is dogged down by incoherent treatment. A neo-noir kind of movie in Telugu, which has never been tried in Tollywood.

In an industry like ours where cliche is mass produced, when a filmmaker attempts a format that's rarely (perhaps never and does it reasonably successfully at that) been done before, can make you want to overlook everything else - will this movie click with the masses? Is there enough masala? Was the interval bang good enough?
Rating: 3.0/5
Telugu cinema’s tryst with neo-noir remains minimal and in the past five years, there have been very few films which were filled with anti-heros or characters who are too cynical going by the conventional standards. That’s perhaps the first thing which sets Ko Antey Koti apart.
Rating: 3.0/5
Production values are good and it shows Sarvanand’s special interest in the project. Editing is Ok and could have been better. Music of Shaktikant is good and cinematography is natural.
Rating: 2.75/5
Ko Antey Koti, which could have been a decent thriller, is seriously let down by poor execution. Super performances by Sri Hari and Sharwanand are sure shot plus points. On the flip side, lack of thrilling moments, bad character justification and a weak first half are major let downs. Finally, Ko Antey Koti is just a below average treat.
Rating: 2.75/5
Cinematography is pleasing on the eyes. Background music is impressive and songs are well picturized. Anish is fine. Dialogues are good. Anish Kurivilla has taken a good concept and characters he had taken are also apt as per the story-line. But the way he executed is not up to the mark in many scenes.
Rating: 2.75/5
Anish Kurivilla has an interesting storyline and well-etched characterizations with good performers but he falters in the execution at times. The narration is uninteresting with slow pace and screenplay isn’t gripping enough which is required for such stories.
Rating: 2.75/5
Ko Ante Koti makes a decent watch if you excuse the slow pace in first half!!!

Ko Ante Koti - Variety Attempt
Rating: 2.75/5
Watch Ko Ante Koti for its versatile content and Srihari, Sharwanand's performances.
Rating: 2.5/5
Anish Kuruvilla who earlier directed Avakai Biryani(2008) directed this flick. Sharvanand produced himself under “Sarvaa Arts” banner. Sharvanand and the team raised expectations with the Music, Promos and the publicity much before the movie’s release. The Movie received an ‘A’ certificate for the Violence and Coarse language used.
Rating: 2.5/5
Ko Antey Koti has some tight screenplay, which is the added advantage for the movie. The direction of Anish Yohan Kuruvilla is also okay. The dialogues in the movie are extraordinary.

Rating: 2.5/5
After Avakkai Biryani, Anish Yohan Kuruvilla switches genres with Ko Ante Koti and comes up with a crime and romance drama. This film has an ensemble caste with Srihari and Sharwanand in the lead roles and Priya Anand paired opposite Sharwanand.
Rating: 2.5/5
Overall Ko Ante Koti is below average film that lacks the final 'Kick'.
Rating: 2.5/5
Anish Kuruvilla chose a different storyline and interesting story. However the film suffers from weak screenplay as viewers get confused with the narration.
Rating: 2.25/5
Cinema is indeed a business but it has become a gamble now. It has become worse than a game of cards, spending money on stories that lack sensible content and logic and spending crores despite knowing that it is a useless plot.
Rating: 2.0/5
Before a director puts his pen on paper and starts writing a story he has to be sure what genre of film he is going to work on. Once that is confirmed, the focus should be on plot making which is the backbone for any story. And then comes the rest of the aspects like scene composition, dialogues etc.
Rating: 2.0/5
The film happens to be the debut production venture of hero Sharwanand and the teaser set some high expectations. But as expected, the director has once again proved that he cannot direct a film. Right from the start, the film takes off on a very haphazard manner and even after fifteen minutes there is no clue what exactly is happening.
Rating: 2.0/5
The film takes off well with few good notable dialogues but the lead stars performances will never make you connect to the scenes. Few of the scenes involving Brahmanandam, Sarath Kumar scenes in the first half and a series of murders may create some interest but the inconsistent screenplay and untimely songs test the patience.
Rating: 2.0/5
With confusing narration and terrible technical team effort ,this flick even lost to make it as one time watcher also.

Loses sheen as it progresses
Rating: 1.75/5
Weak story, screen play and script failed to impress movie lovers. Anish's direction looked clueless. His screenplay was confusing to the core. Shakti Kanth's music is not at all attractive while Martand Venkatesh editing looked patchy and sticked with glue. Sharwanand spent lavishly since he produced the film
Rating: 1.75/5
This movie has no scope overseas, this will be an out right rejection at the overseas window. It might be hard for the distributors to recover even the prints cost

Sharwanand's Misjudgment as Producer.
Rating: --
Ko Ante Koti, which has an interesting story. It is some kind of film. It gives complete positive sense. The entire first half lacks focus and narration is unclear. The Weak first half is major drawback of the film. The whole movie is about a robbery.

Talented actor Sharwanand is turning producer with the movie Ko Antey Koti, which has hit the marquee today. Directed by Anish Kuruvilla, the film has an interesting storyline and wonderful performances by the lead actors. But it might fail to impress you due to its slow and vague narration.
Rating: --
It's a little too nonchalant by normal Tollywood standards, so watch it if you are in the mood to watch something off the beaten track.

A neo-noir attempt that ends up as a mismatch of genres.
