Rating: 3.25/5
'Dongaata' is a reasonably good one time watch. A good second half and some nicely conceived twists work in favour of the film. Some stale comedy in the first half is a liability. If you enjoy crime comedies, you will enjoy this movie.
Rating: 3.0/5
On the whole, Dongaata has some engaging twists laced with decent entertainment. Manchu Lakshmi’s performance, Brahmanandam’s comedy and suspense filled second half are huge assets. If you manage to sit through some unwanted and dragged out scenes during the first half, you will end up liking this thrilling crime comedy.
Rating: 3.0/5
Dongaata play attracts movie lovers.Vamshi Krishna's screenplay and direction kept viewers glued to the screens. He included all elements to attract mass and class viewers.
Rating: 3.0/5
Dongata has an interesting premise that gets into business without wasting any time. Director didn't take much time in establishing the characters or their intensions. The film's plot is revealed within first ten minutes and Brahmi enters the scene in the first reel itself. There is ample comedy to keep things flowing until the interval scene.
Rating: 3.0/5
From hinting at gender equality to spreading the message of using condoms for safe sex and avoiding unwanted pregnancies that produce orphans to geriatric care to promoting the cause of orphanages, Lakshmi Manchu says a lot of things within an hour. Just when you feel that it is going overboard, the director brings in the climax sequence and once again you get engrossed in the main plot.
Rating: 3.0/5
With a tinge of sentiment and drama and tons of comedy content, Dongata passes off the litmus test. Finally, Lakshmi Manchu scored an impressive comedy entertainer in her kitty. Go give it a watch.
Rating: 3.0/5
Director Vamsi Krishna seems to have concentrated more on the extra elements of the film rather than the main ingredients that are required. Dongata lacks interesting screen play though it has few twists in the tale.
Rating: 3.0/5
First half is alright with a good twist in the interval. Second half has got interesting screenplay. On the flip side, the comedy (Brahmanandam & Pruthvi) should have been better in first half and orphanage episodes in second half appear prolonged. On a whole, Dongata is a thriller with an interesting screenplay.
Rating: 2.75/5
Only story is not all alone enough to entertain the audience for more than 2 hours. Director N.Vamsi Krishna failed to execute his script in promising way. Director has initially failed at casting the artists to his script. One can feel the lack of experience of director on screen. He is totally failed in monitering the work of various crafts which spoiled the output of the film.
Rating: 2.75/5
Dongaata is a game of thrills that entertains you with enough laughs and twists in the story groomed within lagging screenplay in parts.Second half of Dongaata is more engaging compared to the first. Movie has sufficient think of moments that never make you feel bored.
