A powerful introduction with absolutely good BGM brought goosebumps. Worst choreography ruined the songs given by Devi Sri Prasad. Only thing that can be appreciated through out the movie is his one liners and music. Fights are good. No comedy till pre-climax. After brahmanandam's intro there were few laughs and chucklings in the theater. Costumes are good. Cinematography is praisable.

Some comedy scenes are good, Nagarjuna is the only plus point for the film. There is very less role for the heroine, she is only for songs and too many characters without connection is really a negative point to the film, the climax is really abrupt. We can watch the movie only for Akkineni Nagarjuna.
Rating: 2.5/5
The basic flaw of ‘Bhai’ lies in predictability of the script. This is an olden story of a missing hero uniting with the family setting the villains on fire and becoming the savior. So, Veerabhadram should have concentrated more on bringing the perceptive family emotions on screen. There are plenty of weak links in the story and script which left direction also to fall flatter. There was no need for half a dozen of introduction scenes forcibly coming one after the other to show Nagarjuna as a powerful mafia man because that was of no use in final run of characterization. Such kind of elemental pitfalls diluted the central theme. Actual story reveals just before the interval block when Nag plots on to kill Prasanna.

. Director Veerabhadram Chowdary failed in establishing the characterizations and handled the scenes amateurishly. The storyline is wafer thin though it had a couple of good twists, but the poor handling takes away audiences’ interest.Half way into Bhai, the sentiment scenes work when the main plot twist gets revealed. Pre-interval episodes create curiosity and so the second half picks up momentum and pre-climax has some very good scenes. However, the comedy scenes and songs picturization are pathetically handled. The climax has nothing new to offer. Plentiful needless punch dialogues and fights are unconvincing but the worst part is the director failing in his strong forte ‘entertainment’.
Rating: 2.5/5
The film came in with a lot of expectations and some are also saying it is the remake of a Malayalam film. Irrespective of all that, the film takes off in a good way but as it progresses it begins to lose its touch. The interval bang was stale. The second half gets dragged and melodrama scenes were very bad. Overall, this is a film which doesn’t really appeal to even fans of Nagarjuna. At the box office, this will fizzle out in no time.

Nag look Always good and awesome, in this movie also Nagarjuna styles awesome and his performance is so good, he did full length comedy entertainer after a long time. he lived up to the hype in the character. Richa Gangopadhyay had nothing to do other than look pretty and groove. Prasanna was not used properly. Brahmanandam, M S Narayana also were not given proper roles.
Rating: 2.5/5
As usually Nagarjuna has done well. Though age is increasing, he has worked very hard to appear youthful. Nagarjuna’s hard work is evident in fights and dances. A character in the movie addressing Richa says, “What an expression! unable to understand whether you are laughing or crying.” Same dialogue applies to Richa’s performance in the movie. Brahmi is better. Ashish Vidyarthi and Sonu Sood haven’t been used perfectly.
The Times Of India

Blending entertainment with action is the standard template for big star massy entertainers. The film tries to juxtapose the goofiness of an Aha Na Pellanta with the stylized action of a gangster flick like say Shadow. The result we're afraid is a dumbed-down version of Don. Even die hard fans of Nagarjuna will struggle to conjure nice things to say about the movie. It's a howler all the way, and that is putting it kindly.
Rating: 2.5/5
The Movie starts with a Thailand backdrop as an International Mafia Don David (Ashish Vidyarthi) is the head of the D-gang along with his two sons (Sonu Sood and Ajay). They also have Bhai (Nagarjuna) working as right hand, which has an expertise in extending the business to new areas. On an operation bhai has to see the end of Undercover Cop Arjun (Prasanna) who became a headache for David killing the Mafia members, so Bhai is eventually sent to Hyderabad.
Rating: 2.5/5
He has concentrated more on unnecessary stuff like punch dialogues and hero elevation scenes. Those scenes and dialogues are not good too. Hence, the film ended up as a horrible affair that will test anyone. Nagarjuna fans and masses also will be disappointed with this.
Rating: 2.5/5
Nagarjuna is fit and glamorous as usual. His performance is okay as Bhai. He did well in sentimental scenes. Richa Gangopadhyaya doesn't have much of a role to play. Her character is poorly written. First half of Bhai is unbearable with story not moving anywhere. Love track between Nag and Richa tested the patience of audience. Except for first song, the other two songs are badly placed in the first half.
Rating: 2.25/5
Many gets a feeling that Nag tried his best but when director Veerabhadram failed him, he couldn't help. Director Veerabhadram selected a story similar to Badshah and which came in many films earlier. He totally failed to create interest in the film with good twists and turns. Everything is predictable and routine. When many looked if not for action but smooth comedy from Nagarjuna like in King, many scenes and character comeout and go with story swinging back and forth in a directionless manner. Second half is even more testing with outdated sentiment scenes.
Rating: 2.25/5
The film lacked connectivity between sundry scenes and lacked logic thus failing to connect with mass and class viewers. Romantic track is not established opportunely while police not recognising potent person like Bhai is additionally illogical.
Rating: 2.25/5
‘Bhai’ came in with good expectations, riding on the back of a nice audio album from DSP. But the film fails to entertain. Poor screenplay, bad writing and terrible editing spoil the overall viewing experience. Bhai is a disappointment and it ends up as a damp squib.
Rating: 2.0/5
The first half of the movie is bad and the second half even gets worse. And that speak volumes about my movie experience. If I were you, I will not be watching the movie on a free ticket with a free popcorn and a drink!
Rating: 2.0/5
Veerabhadram didnot pay attention to story and spoiled the film with poor script and storyline. Lack of romance, bad placement of songs and poor editing undid the film. The story is routine with no twists at all. Viewers saw this kind of films for many decades and more recently in Badshah.
Rating: 2.0/5
First half of Bhai is unbearable with story not moving anywhere. Introduction scenes of Nagarjuna and his Bhai act in Bangkok are not at all impressive. Love track between Nag and Richa tested the patience of audience. Except for first song, the other two songs are badly placed in the first half.Second half starts off with an interesting twist at the interval. There is some story to write about in the second hour. The father-son, sister-brother sentiment scenes are not shot well. There is scope for the director to work out comedy and sentiment in the second half. But he messed it up with poor writing.
Rating: 2.0/5
Director completely failed in all aspects. Music by Devi sri Prasad is not impressive except “Bhai" song. Cinematographer by Sameer Reddy is ok. He succeeds in showing Nagarjuna in handsome looks. Some Punch dialogues are good in the movie. Editing is ok.This could be other debacle movie in Nagarjuna’s career. Even his fans couldn’t satisfy with this movie. The teaser is much better than the complete movie.
Rating: 2.0/5
Generally, mass entertainers come with a certain set of requirements like an energetic hero, some strong punch dialogues, entertaining romance and humorous comedy track with satire and fun. Without this, nothing works. For some reason, the director was unable to blend these requirements rightly and as a result, the film fell flat on its face.
Rating: 2.0/5
Nagarjuna looks handsome as usual, his costumes and styling is appropriate and nice. He mouthed few good dialogues and punches which will go well with fans. Richa Gangopadhyay filled the glam part of the movie, but she has nothing to do as per performance wise.
Rating: 2.0/5
The comic track in this movie is what saves the film from being an absolute bore. If you have to watch a movie every weekend, Bhai will not trouble you. But those of you who walk in with huge expectations, the risk is all yours to take. I am going with 2/5 for Bhai. Tollywood really needs to break the monotony here, and the sooner they do it, the better it is. They should consider it our humble request.
Rating: 2.0/5
Bhai needs guns before 6 and women after 6. So to hold guns we have Ashish Vidyarthi and Sonu Sood and to hold flowers we have Richa Gangopadhyay. Bhai cares about his women therefore the women appears only before songs and disappears after song. Also Bhai loves his family women therefore Bhai has given better role to his ‘behen’ than heroine.
Rating: 2.0/5
Nag's confident act is praiseworthy but there is visible lack of depth in his performance. He seems to sleepwalk through the role, which was ill-written in the first place. The look is good, the diction is alright, what falters is the choreography. He could have been shown with enough care in the action sequences, all of which fall flat.
Rating: 1.5/5
Bhai is a silly and senseless entertainer which fails to impress audience from all sections and centers. Ironically, a character in the film says – A, B, C centers anne Bhai ve. Devisri’s music cannot save the film. Bhai has no chance to do well at the box-office. Nagarjuna will have to wait for some more time for a commercial hit. Forget about watching Bhai in theaters, you may skip it even when it comes on television.
Rating: 1.5/5
Overall a routine + average flick.Better not to watch this one.You should pass it on..Lets hope Nag will come up with a better one than this in the near future.
Rating: 1.0/5
If you are a fan of Nagarjuna and want to see him on the screen better go to one of his old movies instead of watching Bhai and repent for it. If you want to watch a good movie during the weekend, Bhai is certain to disappoint you. If you don’t watch it, you will not miss anything but rather be saved from a bad taste in the mouth.

Set in the backdrop of mafia, the first half of the movie has some catchy one-liners, romance, songs, dance, comedy and stunning action shot in different exotic locales. This portion is high on entertainment quotient and you will enjoy it. But the movie hits a rough patch due to some sentimental sequences in the second half, which is dragging and boring. The climax is good and interesting to watch.

Director veerabadram who has a knack of cleverly freemaking the other langauges hit film failed miserably this time the direction and screen play were too bad right from starting and goes to worse towards ending. This is a routine Don backdrop movie without proper execution.
Veerabhadram completely failed in directing a star hero. Need to know that Every Rhyming line is not a punch. There are several outdated rhyming dialogs which will create a variety of feeling on the face of audience.

Comedy scenes are not up to the mark. There are very few moments for which audience can laugh heart fully. Of course we can laugh for the steps of nag
Even Brahmi was unable to save the movie.

Nothing special for the character of heroin , routine role which can be useful for songs. Songs are misplaced . First time I felt disappointed with DSP.

Bhai has nothing great to offer the viewers. Watch it if you have nothing to watch.

P.S : Don't miss the excellent expression of Nag in the pre climax. It was worth of your ticket
