RaviTeja is back to form with Balupu, a perfect mass-masala entertainer. Watch the film for its rib-tickling stuff
The Times Of India
Rating: 3.5/5
Right in the beginning we have that iconic horse riding scene from Gabbar Singh in a dream sequence, as if to let the Pawan fans among the audience a chance to hoot. However, Balayya fans on the other hand, haven't taken too kindly to an episode where Ravi Teja mimics the Nandamuri icon's dialogue delivery in a comedy scene.
Rating: 3.5/5
Ravi Teja has finally managed to hit the ball out of the park, after almost two years. His latest film Balupu has everything one would expect from a quintessential Ravi Teja’s film. However, more than the fact that it’s a breezy entertainer, it was quite a revelation to see Ravi Teja find his mojo and sort of reconjure that actor whom we had last seen in films like Kick, Krishna and Venky.
Rating: 3.5/5
Compare to Raviteja Past Movies its Far better Raviteja Mark Entertainer.Sruthi haasan brahmanandam And Others will entertain u This Movie Is paisa Vasool Movie
Rating: 3.5/5
Director GopiChand Malineni has taken a very predictable plot and tried to pepper it with a constant contemporary humour. All the latest trends, events and recent happenings have been used to generate the humour in the proceedings. Some of them work and some don't. All these of course are present in the first half of the film.
Rating: 3.5/5
Balupu has High entertainment in first half. Raviteja is back with this film you can enjoy his mass masala performance. Shruthi glamour and Brahmi comedy are the highlights to the movie. We can avoid the routine story and slow pace in the second half. So Balupu is a must watch movie for All type of Audience.
Rating: 3.25/5
With ‘Balupu’, we can perhaps say that Ravi Teja is back! His mass look and powerful punch dialogues work well. Shruti Haasan’s glamour and Brahmanandam’s comedy are major assets. A slow second half and routine storyline bring down the overall experience a little. ‘Balupu’ ends up being a mass masala entertainer that is definitely worth a watch.
Rating: 3.25/5
Balupu movie is more of comedy than an action.
Rating: 3.25/5
Brahmanandam, without whom the film would be incomplete, has done justice to his character as usual. Prakash Raj has also done a good role in Ravi Teja's father. Continue reading the review in the photo slider. The first half is pretty fast paced and the viewers are floored with each any every scene. The second half though started off a little slow takes off soon after.
Rating: 3.25/5
Overall Balupu is a masala entertainer with good comedy. Ravi Teja is in his elements and definitely he is back! Glamour quotient of heroines and Brahmanandam's superb comedy also worked in favour of the movie. Go for its entertainment value
Rating: 3.25/5
Ravi Teja is at his energetic best in comedy, action and sentiment scenes. Shruthi Hassan provided sensuous glamour treat while Brahmanandam turned theaters into laughing halls. Anjali performed well in her role. Prakash Raj, Nazar played able fathers in roles tailor made for them. Ashutosh Rana expressed himself as a villain. Adavi Sesh, Raghu Babu, Tagubotu Ramesh and others did justice to their roles. Lakshmi Rai sizzled in the special song.
Rating: 3.25/5
Ravi Teja is back again. After 6 flops on a trot, the actor had got right mix in the form of Balupu. Except for some lag in the second half, the movie is very entertaining. You have a good product in hand to kill your free time this weekend
Rating: 3.25/5
First half of the film is entertaining. Second half has story, mass elements and emotions. The pre-climax and climax episodes are entertaining. Ravi Teja whose previous hit was released in January 2011 didn’t find success at box office despite having seven films in a span of 2 and half years. Balupu will provide oxygen to his career. Balupu has all ingredients (with a dominating portion of entertainment) to become a decent hit. You can watch it!!.
Rating: 3.25/5
The main highlights for the film are Ravi Teja’s action in his mark and Brahmandam’s excellent comedy timings will surely entertain audience. Though the story is not new and is predictable the screenplay is impressive with all necessary elements.
Rating: 3.25/5
It's a pakka mass masala commercial cinema and seeing Ravi Teja in beard after a long time brings back memories of his struggling days. By the way, you don't have to take your brains with you but you can take your family members for some time pass movie. It's a family entertainer!
Rating: 3.0/5
It is a simple story laced with entertaining screenplay. There is nothing much in the first half of the movie except comedy scenes between the lead pair and Brahmanandam. The real story starts at the interval bang and the movie turns serious with action takes front seat. The movie appears to be prolonged, but adding comedy in climax scenes offset the slack.
Rating: 3.0/5
Typical Mass Maharaja entertainer, can be watched once. After a long time, it looks like Ravi Teja is going to have a smile on his face.Overall, this is a film which will appeal to the commercial audience and it is a Paisa Vasool entertainer for them. At the box office, this would be landing in profit zone.
Rating: 3.0/5
Balupu is a neat entertainer film with lots of funny scenes. Director used many contemporary things to evoke humor. Gangnam, Jumping Jhapak dances, Gabbar Singh and Iddarammayilatho references, Brahmi imitating Pawan Kalyan, Raivteja mimicking Bala Krishna etc. clicked. There is not much rib tickling stuff, but the film doesn't take anything serious and that is where it works.
Rating: 3.0/5
Balupu is a thorough entertainer and the movie can be watched to get the Ravi Teja’s live acting thoughout the movie.
Rating: 3.0/5
As we mentioned earlier, this is a much much better film from Raviteja and you may watch it for the entertainment. It is a time pass flick which you won't mind watching. The director should have toned down that violence in the action episodes. Those scenes didn't help the movie much and in turn got it an Adults only certification.
Rating: 3.0/5
Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Brahmanandam comedy scenes are hilarious. Ravi Teja, Brahmi scenes have always worked on-screens and this time Shruti joins the duo. The Haasan girl appears in ultra glamorous outfits.Brahmanandam is an asset for the film. His dances and antics on Gangnam style and Dil Jamping Japak tracks along with leads, followed by Iddarammayilatho spoof dialogue (Matallev Matladukovdallev) are sure to leave you in splits. The comedy is sensibly paced in the first half.
Rating: 3.0/5
The director has followed the typical commercial potboiler formula and exploited Ravi Teja’s mass image with Shruti’s glamour appeal in right proportions and pulled it off. That way, the film would work commercially though it doesn’t score on the content and depth of subject.
Rating: 3.0/5
“Balupu” movie will give peace sleep to Ravi Teja. This time he scored a Box-office Hit through Balupu. Ravi Teja fans and who loves Mass movies will enjoy this movie. This movie will do good business in B and C centers. Watch this movie for Brahmanandam comedy and Ravi Teja punch dialogues., Balupu movie will give peace sleep to Ravi Teja. Not a complete ACTION ENTERIANER, but watchable once for Ravi Teja-Brahmi comedy.

hruti Hassan and Ravi Teja’s chemistry is pretty good and Shruti’s glamour is a huge plus to the film. The actors looked perfect for their roles. Shruti Hassan’s glamour is a plus point for the film.Anjali’s girl-next-door character is perfect for her. She does full justice for the role.
Rating: 3.0/5
Balupu is not superb but it is ok to watch for Mass Maharaja's energetic performance, Sruthi's glamour and for Brahmanandam's comedy
Rating: 3.0/5
Punch dialogues penned for Raviteja and witty dialogues for Brahmanandam will make wonders with the B, C centres with some dialogues in double meanings. A true mass film.
Rating: 2.75/5
In totality, Gopichand was able to satisfy the audience to an extent which isn’t matched with the actual caliber of Raviteja. So, Balupu has tasty munchies here and there but this could not make a complete meal. Presence of Shruthi and Anjali added a fresh flavor. Go with Raviteja’s last two years of master piece duds in mind, you may come out satisfying. Let us wait for the commercial verdict of public in next one week because a lot depends on how B & C centers receive this.
Rating: 2.75/5
Raviteja’s Balupu is a movie with entertainment and action sequences. But it is just one time watch.
Rating: 2.75/5
Balupu runs with Basha format story. As Raviteja is there, comedy has been given important place. Whole first half runs on Raviiteja, Shruthi Hasan and Brahmi’s comedy. Raviteja’s plans on Brahmi, Brahmi’s retorts to Ravi and how Raviteja finally outsmarts Brahmi..the story runs in this sequence. Kona Venkat’s punch dialogues at appropriate intervals add the required comedy push for the story.
Rating: 2.5/5
Movie is only based on entrainment not bothering story. Balupu also listed in one time watch movies
Rating: 2.5/5
The director missed the plot completely.A below average story line which is very much predictable. The intensity is completely missing in the film.It is neither a comic film nor a faction film. This is made on a 50:50 basis

Director Gopichand Malineni teams up with Ravi Teja for Balupu after Don Seenu which came out a few years ago. Balupu like most mainstream commercial cinema has the same formula of action, romance, comedy and the mandatory songs, re-churned.
Rating: 2.5/5
We are either scared or lazy to be creative, and "Balupu" is proof to it. Ravi Teja shines in his tailor made role and all credit to the director for it. You want entertainment that's bereft of logic; this is the film for you.
Rating: 2.0/5
Those watching this film will in all probability be that audience familiar with the rich culture of inside jokes which now operates on a broader territory, thanks to YouTube. That being the case, this film is quite entertaining. It has a few new ways of saying the dirty thing cleanly, it has pretty female leads...that’s all actually.
Rating: --
The first half is pretty fast paced and the viewers are floored with each any every scene. The second half though started off a little slow takes off soon after. There is a scene in the hospital where Ravi Teja talks like Balayya. His dialogues in this scene made the entire theatre rupture with whistles and screeches.

The only two aspects in the film worth talking about is Brahmanandam and the twist that arrives in the story just before the break. The story appears to have has been written just for the twist and the comedian enjoys himself being the character. Dressed in bermudas and a Tee shirt that is just enough to cover his pot belly, he has a whale of a time breaking into the Gangnam style dance and texting sweet nothings and requests for gifts to Ravi (Ravi Teja) on behalf of Sruthi (Sruthi Hassan) the heroine.
Rating: --
Balupu is proof enough that Ravi Teja hasn’t lost his charm and all he needs is a decent script and a good team. Fortunately, everything falls into place in Balupu. It’s a fun ride all the way and it even made watching someone dance to Dil Jumping Jhapak seem fun. That was a masterstroke.
Rating: --
We cannot consider this as must watch movie but as their is no competition at box office this movie will be better choice if you find any leisure time . RAVITEJA gets required oxygen.
Rating: --
Technically, the film is simple. Nothing to boast about. The film is colourful throughout, and the audience are more immersed in the dialogues and would not have much time to bother about anything else.
