The film is first of its kind in India to release in 3D. It is being directed by director and choreographer Remo D'Souza and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. It stars Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya in key roles during a reality dancing event. Dance India Dance winners also essay central characters.

It's easy to go overboard when you are in love with a subject, but Remo keeps his motives clear, and the film brisk. Editor Manan Sagar 'cuts' and 'fits' to give you the thrills and a perfect flow in the narration.

To put it simply, ABCD or Any Body Can Dance, written and directed by choreographer Remo D'Souza is entertainment, entertainment and entertainment.

On the whole, ABCD is one film which has a total A to Z of dancing. A never before seen dance sequences and some out standing choreography are sure shot plus points. On the flip side, a boring and dragged out second half kills the flow of the film.

ABCD - ANY BODY CAN DANCE's biggest strength lies in the variety of dances that Remo presents to the spectators. Where the film falters is in its skeletal plotline, although writer Tushar Hiranandani comes up with several knockout sequences.

Director Remo made decent debut with a kind of surprise hit "Faltu" starring Jaccky Bhagnani. This time he chose a subject which was close to the heart. An Indian version of "Step Up" and something which was never seen in Bollywood - a complete dance film!

Kay Kay Menon as Jehangir is the only actor in the movie, who has not danced, but he more than makes up for it with his intense performance.

If you enjoy some cool, snazzy dance and can look past the largely decorative acting, this is actually a movie worth a watch. I give it a slightly generous 3 stars, largely because of the overwhelming positivity in the script and the loudly subtle happy-ending.

Let's get jiggy with it right away. And groove to beats of the alphabets of dance. Vishnu (Prabhudeva), a choreographer with an elite dance academy is unceremoniously ousted by the ambitious

ABCD - Any Body Can Dance, directed by Remo D'Souza is one of the biggest surprises this weekend. While some of us expected Special Chabbis to be a good film, not many have high expectation from this

Films on dance have always been blockbusters in Telugu industry, classical film like Sagara Sangamam reamained an epic entertainer while Raghava Lawerence's Stlye managed to entertain the audience.

The film rightly pays attention to tech details without which the effort would crumble. Superb camerawork and sound design assist the 3D frames, though Sachin-Jigar could have come up with more whacky tunes for the soundtrack. It's your film if you love dance.

The ApunKaChoice movie review of ABCD - Any Body Can Dance. Remo D’Souza is doubtlessly convinced that Any Body Can Dance, or even Direct. He for sure pulled a rabbit out of the hat with his successful outing as a director

If there is a will there is a way. If you have passion for something nothing can stop you from achieving it. Remo D’Souza’s “ABCD” is not just about the basics of dancing, but about living your passion

Is ABCD – Anybody Can Dance the Lagaan of dance? Not by a long chalk. Knowledge of the ABCD of choreography – of which there is no dearth at all in this film – certainly doesn't guarantee cinematic excellence and narrative grasp.

Given that his hoofing skills are incomparable, Prabhu Deva would have done a movie like this sooner or later. Actually, he should have done it sooner.
AndhraHeadlines

Remo d'Souza's film glides in expected but never dull ways. It winds its way through a series of self-consciously constructed road-blocks for the sincere dance teacher and his students who learn, the hard way, that dance is for one's own pleasure and not to show off.
